HASHTAG STRATEGY
Ten hashtags chosen as one balanced set
Caption Engine does not fill ten slots with the largest generic tags. It builds a relevant group around the subject visible in the uploaded video.
The target balance
- Three core-topic tags establish the principal subject, franchise, activity, product category, or theme.
- Three highly specific tags identify supported characters, objects, techniques, places, scenes, or subtopics.
- Two niche-community tags connect the clip with a relevant fandom, profession, hobby, or creator audience.
- Two broader discovery tags add reach while remaining meaningfully connected to the video.
Relevance comes first
A huge hashtag is not automatically useful. If it does not describe the clip, it provides a weak categorisation signal and may attract the wrong audience. Caption Engine therefore penalizes filler terms such as generic viral or discovery tags when they are used without a supported reason.
Current public context
When the visual subject can be identified responsibly, the engine may check current public terminology and discussion. This can help it prefer recognisable topic language over an outdated or invented phrase. It never claims access to private TikTok ranking data.
What viral-friendly means
Viral-friendly describes preparation, not an outcome. The set aims to improve content match, search relevance, niche targeting, trend evidence, specificity, and discovery balance. Actual reach also depends on the video, audience response, watch behaviour, account history, timing, and systems outside Caption Engine.
Use the set thoughtfully
- Review every tag before posting.
- Remove a tag if it does not accurately describe the final edit.
- Add a campaign or branded tag when one is genuinely required.
- Compare performance across multiple posts instead of judging one upload.
